Descripción

Trichloroisocyanuric acid was used as a disinfection reagent in the transformation of benzophenone-3 in chlorinated water. It was also used in the synthesis of 2-halomethylene-3-oxoketoximes. It is used as a bleaching agent in the textile industry, a reagent in organic synthesis.

Aplicaciones
El ácido tricloroisocianúrico se utilizaba como reactivo de desinfección en la transformación de benzofenona-3 en agua clorada. También se empleaba en la síntesis de 2-halometileno-3-oxocetoximas. Se utiliza como agente blanqueador en la industria textil y como reactivo en síntesis orgánica.

Soluble en clorocarbono, acetonitrilo, acetona y agua (12 g/l).
