Descripción
This monoclonal antibody Cr24.1 reacts with human CD355, also known as Class-I MHC-restricted T-cell-associated molecule (CRTAM). CD355 usually exists as a homodimer, however, it forms a heterodimer with its ligand Necl-2. CD355 is transiently expressed by activated NK, NKT, gamma delta T, and CD8+ T cells. CD355 is also expressed by Purkinje neurons. Human CD355 is involved in immunosurveillance of cancer cells, gamma delta T cell survival, cell polarity, retention of lymphocytes in lymph nodes, promotion of cytotoxicity in NK cells, and IFN gamma secretion from CD8+ T cells. Cr24.1 has been reported to have antagonist activity. This Cr24.1 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of stimulated normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 μL (1 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
The CRTAM gene is upregulated in CD4-positive and CD8-positive T cells and encodes a type I transmembrane protein with V and C1-like Ig domains.Especificaciones
