AplicacionesEl cromato de sodio anhidro se utiliza como inhibidor de la corrosión en la industria del petróleo, como conservante para madera y como auxiliar en de teñido en la industria textil. También se utiliza para preparar pigmentos para pinturas y tintas. También se utiliza en productos farmacéuticos para determinar el volumen de glóbulos rojos. En química sintética, se utiliza como oxidante para convertir los alcoholes primarios y secundarios en ácidos carboxílicos y cetonas respectivamente.
Solubilidad
Soluble en agua. Ligeramente soluble en metanol y etanol.
