Descripción
Phenol red is used as a non absorbed marker in gravimetric method. It is a pH indicator used in cell biology laboratories and in home swimming pool test kits. It is used to check the kidney function based on the excreted phenol red by colorimetric method.

AplicacionesEl rojo de fenol se utiliza como marcador no absorbido en el análisis gravimétrico. Es un indicador de pH utilizado en laboratorios de biología celular y en kits de pruebas de piscina para el hogar. Se utiliza para analizar la función renal según el rojo de fenol excretado mediante colorimetría.
Solubilidad
Soluble en agua, etanol y metanol. Insoluble en cloroformo.
Notas
Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes.
