AplicacionesEl tricloruro de metilgermanio se utiliza como precursor en la síntesis de cinco metilgermanatos aniónicos espirocíclicos coordinados, al reaccionar con catecol. También participa en la adsorción fotoquímica del organogermanio en una superficie de silicio atómicamente plana terminada en hidrógeno, en la que se utiliza fuente de iluminación excímera de xenón.
Solubilidad
Miscible con éter.
Notas
Sensible a la humedad y reacciona violentamente con el agua. Cuando entra en contacto con agua, también se hidroliza. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes y bases.
