Recombinant Protein

For maximum recovery please spin prior to use. Aliquoting the 5 μg, 10 μg, and 20 μg sizes of kinase is not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots; aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Never store a kinase diluted. If properly stored at -80C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase. Active-this protein can be used in kinase activity assays, such as Z'-LYTE™ assays, or in a binding assay platform like the LanthaScreen™ Eu Kinase Binding Assay (KBA). Purified-purity is determined by gel electrophoresis and provided in lot-specific certificate of analysis (COA). GST-tagged-provides animal origin flexibility. When used in the KBA platform, it can be paired with a goat- or rabbit-derived Eu-anti-GST antibody. Protein Form: Full Length.

YES1 is a recombinant human protein kinase that is a member of the SRC family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases and is the cellular homolog of the Yamaguchi sarcoma virus oncogene. It is involved in the regulation of cell growth and survival, including roles in apoptosis, cell-cell adhesion, cytoskeleton remodeling, and differentiation.
