PA1-4266 detects the XAB2 (XPA-binding protein 2) protein in human samples. PA1-4266 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. PA1-4266 immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 840-855 of the human XAB2 protein.
A novel protein designated XAB2 (XPA-binding protein 2) interacts with XPA, a factor central to both nucleotide excision repair subpathways. Data suggests that XAB2 is a novel component involved in transcription-coupled repair and transcription.
