Cultivate fastidious bacteria with Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Tryptose Phosphate Broth (Dehydrated). Tryptose Phosphate Broth is recommended for the cultivation of streptococci, pneumococci, meningococci and other fastidious organisms. Tryptose Phosphate Broth with added agar and sodium azide is recommended for the isolation of pathogenic streptococci from cheese and other dairy products1,2.

Use Tryptone Phosphate Broth for cultivation of fastidious bacteria.
