Potassium hydrogen sulfate is used in the conversion of tartrates to bitartrates in wine. It serves as a disintegrating agent in analytical chemistry and as an intermediate in the preparation of potassium persulfate by electrolysis. It is also employed in the manufacturing of fertilizers.

El sulfato de hidrógeno y potasio se utiliza en la conversión de tartratos en bitartratos en el vino. Sirve como agente desintegrante en química analítica y como intermediario en la preparación de persulfato de potasio por electrólisis. También se emplea en la fabricación de fertilizantes.
