Descripción

Used in the preparation of an amperometric glucose sensor. Also can be employed in Lillie and Fullmer method for staining and discriminating between melanins and lipofuscins in paraffin sections of animal tissue; Lillie and Fuller method for fatty acids/lipids using frozen sections of fatty liver and avocado.

Aplicaciones
Se utiliza en la preparación de un sensor de glucosa amperométrico. También se puede emplear en el método Lillie y Fullmer para teñir y discriminar entre melaninas y lipofuscinas en cortes de parafina de tejido animal; en el método Lillie y Fuller para ácidos grasos/lípidos utilizando cortes congelados de hígado graso y aguacate.

Solubilidad
Soluble en etanol y agua (50 g/l) en 25 °C.

Notas
Almacenar lejos de agentes oxidantes. Mantener el recipiente herméticamente sellado y guardarlo en un lugar fresco, seco y bien ventilado.
