This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: E130203B14Rik
  • VSTM4 is a type I transmembrane protein in the Immunoglobulin Superfamily.
  • A portion of the ECD is cleaved into a 50 aa peptide. This peptide (Peptide Lv) is thought to enhance L-type voltage-gated calcium channel (L-VGCC) currents in retinal photoreceptors.
  • The VSTM4 insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
