The InCELL Hunter™ eXpress HEK 293 BRD4(1) Bromodomain Assay provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study small molecule drug candidates that engage with regulators of epigenetics pathways. This kit assesses compound-engagement-based stabilization of BRD4(1) via detection of BRD4(1) levels. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses BRD4(1) target protein fused to PL. In the absence of compound that binds and stabilizes the target, this protein is degraded and no EFC signal is produced. When compound engages and stabilizes the target, EA contained in the detection reagent produces EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
