PA5-31859 targets ELP2 in IF, IHC (P), and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-31859 immunogen is recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 318 and 620 of Human ELP2. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Regulates the ligand-dependent activation of STAT3. Acts as subunit of the RNA polymerase II elongator complex, which is a histone acetyltransferase component of the RNA polymerase II (Pol II) holoenzyme and is involved in transcriptional elongation. Elongator may play a role in chromatin remodeling and is involved in acetylation of histones H3 and probably H4.
