The MA1-7474 antibody reacts with Campylobacter jejuni 100 kDa in bacterial and infected tissue samples. MA1-7474 has been successfully used in western blot and ELISA applications. The MA1-7474 antibody was raised against the C. jejuni 100 kDa antigen.
Campylobacter jejuni is a species of curved, long rod-shaped, Gram-negative microaerophilic, bacteria commonly found in animal feces. It is one of the most common causes of human gastroenteritis in the world. C. jejuni is commonly associated with poultry and naturally colonizes the G1 tract of many bird species.
