The cAMP Hunter Follitropin Alfa Bioassay kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to determine Follitropin Alfa potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay assesses Follitropin Alfa based activation of FSHR GPCR activity via detection of levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wildtype FSHR , a naturally Gs coupled GPCR. Upon activation of FSHR , the increase in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to an increased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.
