Description
Adenosine-5'-monophosphate disodium salt is a nucleotide involved in the reactions of cellular energy transfers. It is useful for skin rejuvenation in dermatology and aesthetic dermatology. It acts as an activator of a class of protein kinases called as AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). Further, it is used as a substrate for enzymes such as AMP-thymidine kinase, AMP deaminase and 5'-nucleotidase.

La sal disódica de adenosina-5′-monofosfato es un nucleótido que interviene en las reacciones de las transferencias de energía celular. Es útil para el rejuvenecimiento de la piel en dermatología y dermatología estética. Actúa como activador de una clase de proteínas quinasas llamadas proteína quinasa activada por AMP (AMPK). Además, se utiliza como sustrato para enzimas como la quinasa AMP-timidina, la deaminasa AMP y la 5′-nucleotidasa.

Soluble en agua, dimetilsulfóxido y metanol.
