It acts as a precursor to trioctylphosphine oxide. Further, it is used as a solvent for cadmium and selenium precursors. It also serves as a common reagent in the chemical synthesis of nanoparticles. It acts as a precursor to trioctylphosphine oxide.

Aplicaciones
