Reagent for organic synthesisUsed as a reagent for organic synthesis. Thiourea is a photographic fixative, and used in manufacture of resins. It acts as a catalyst for asymmetric reactions. It plays an essential role as a catalyst for highly enantio- and diastereoselective additions reaction of oxindoles to nitroolefins. It is also useful to improve the productivity of mung bean.

Aplicaciones
Reactivo para la síntesis orgática. Se emplea como reactivo para la síntesis orgánica. La tiourea es un fijador fotográfico y se utiliza en la fabricación de resinas. Actúa como catalizador de reacciones asimétricas. Desempeña un papel esencial como catalizador para la reacción de adiciones altamente enantio y diastereoselectivas de oxindoles a nitroolefinas. También es útil para mejorar la productividad del frijol mungo.
