Thiazole-2-carboxaldehyde may be used as a reactant in the following syntheses Benzothiazine N-acylhydrazones, having potential antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory activity, Thiazole-2-yl-(amino)methylphosphonate diethyl esters, Imino ester by reacting with L-leucine t-butyl ester hydrochloride. Also used in building block for taxane analogs.

Aplicaciones
El tiazol-2-carboxaldehído se puede utilizar como reactante en las siguientes síntesis Benzotiazina n-acilhidracinas,que tiene actividad antinociceptiva y antiinflamatoria potencial, Thiazol-2-il-(amino)metilfosfonato ésteres dietil, éster imino reaccionando con l-leucina t-butilo éster hidrocloruro. También se utiliza en el bloque de construcción para análogos de taxano.
