Descripción

tert-Butyl bromoacetate is used as an intermediate in the production of dyes, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and in organic compounds. It finds application as an alkylating agent. It plays an important role to prepare (2-oxo-4-vinyl-azetidin-1-yl)-acetic acid tert-butyl ester and in collagenase inhibitors synthesis.

Aplicaciones
El bromoacetato de terc-butilo se utiliza como intermediario en la producción de colorantes, productos farmacéuticos, productos agroquímicos y en compuestos orgánicos. Encuentra aplicación como agente alquilante. Desempeña un papel importante en la preparación éster de terc-butilo de (2-oxo-4-vinil-azetidin-1-il)-ácido acético y en la síntesis de inhibidores de la colagenasa.

Solubilidad
Miscible con etanol, cloroformo y acetato de etilo. Inmiscible con agua.
