Beskrivning

Staurosporine (staurosporin, CAS # 62996-74-1) is a bacterial alkyloid isolated from Streptomyces staurosporeus.

Broad spectrum protein kinase inhibitor Staurosporine is used as anti-fungal and anti-hypertensive, which results to study the anti-cancer treatment. It acts as a precursor to protein kinase inhibitor midostaurin. It is also used to induce cell death in Swiss Webster primary macrophage cells and to study the effect of caspase activation on human sperm quality.

Aplicaciones
La estaurosporina, un inhibidor de amplio espectro de proteína quinasas, se utiliza como antifúngico y antihipertensor, y para el estudio del tratamiento contra el cáncer. Actúa como precursor del inhibidor de la proteína quinasa midostaurina. También se utiliza para inducir la muerte celular de macrófagos primarios de ratones Swiss Webster y para estudiar el efecto de la activación de la caspasa sobre la calidad del esperma humano.

Solubilidad
Soluble en DMSO o etanol. Soluble en dimetilsulfóxido, dimetilformamida, acetato de etilo, acetona caliente y etanol. Ligeramente soluble en cloroformo y metanol. Insoluble en agua.

Almacenar en un lugar fresco. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes.
