Description
Silicon carbide is used in applications requiring high endurance, such as car brakes, car clutches and ceramic plates in bulletproof vests. Used in electronic applications, measure gas temperatures in an optical technique called thin filament pyrometry. Used in jewelry, steel production, grapheme production. It is also used in production of exponential resistors, wire sawing, construction industry, a filler in plastics and composites, ceramic sintered parts, ferrites and soft metals.
