Sarcosine ethyl ester hydrochloride, It is used as intermediate in the synthesis of antienzyme agents for toothpaste. Found to be a marker for prostate cancer bioagression. It can be used to produce N-methyl-N-nitroso-glycine ethyl ester. This reaction will need reagent NaNO2, and the menstruum H2O and aq. acetic acid.

Aplicaciones
El clorhidrato de éster etílico de sarcosina, se utiliza como intermediario en la síntesis de agentes antienzimáticos para dentífricos. Se ha descubierto que sirve de marcador para la agresión biológica del cáncer de próstata. Se puede utilizar para producir éster etílico de N-metil-N-nitroso-glicina. Esta reacción necesitará reactivo NaNO2, H2O disolvente y ácido acético acuoso.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua a 0,1 g/ml.
