Thermo Scientific™ POROS™ AAVX RoboColumn™ Pre-packed columns

These RoboColumn™ columns are pre-packed with POROS CaptureSelect AAVX Affinity Resin (Cat. No. A36743), engineered to address the high selectivity and capacity requirements for downstream purification of a broad range of naturally occurring and synthetic adeno-associated virus (AAV) serotypes used for gene therapy applications. POROS CaptureSelect AAVX resin has demonstrated binding reactivity towards a set of AAV serotypes that includes AAV1 to AAV8 and AAVrh10, as well as synthetic serotypes.

POROS CaptureSelect AAVX resin enables a robust, fast, and platformable purification process for wide-ranging AAV serotypes with excellent purity and yield obtained in one step.

CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free).
