Phenylarsine oxide is used as a poultry coccidiostat in veterinary medicine. It is also used in a membrane-permeable protein tyrosine phosphatase inhibitor.

Aplicaciones
El óxido de fenilarsina se utiliza como coccidiostático de aves de corral en la medicina veterinaria. También se utiliza en un inhibidor de proteína tirosina fosfatasa con membrana permeable.

Solubilidad
Soluble en dimetilsulfóxido, cloroformo, benceno, éter, etanol 50:50 dimetilsulfóxido:1 M ácido clorhídrico (3,0 mg/ml) y tolueno. Insoluble en agua.

Notas
Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes.
