Description

Perfluorotri-n-butylamine is used in electronic applications viz. liquid burn-in, testing and vapor phase soldering processes. It acts as an indicator fluid to check the leakage and heat transfer fluid for thermal shock testing. It is an active component in fluosol, which is a substitute for artificial blood and fluorinert coolant liquids. Further, it is used as solvent for computer disc drive lubrication. In addition to this, it is used as a calibration chemical in gas chromatography.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Aplicaciones
La perfluorotri-n-butilamina se utiliza en aplicaciones electrónicas, como los procesos de combustión líquida, pruebas y soldadura en fase de vapor. Actúa como un líquido indicador para comprobar la fuga y el fluido de transferencia de calor para la prueba de choque térmico. Es un componente activo en fluosol, que actúa como sustituto de la sangre artificial y líquidos refrigerantes fluorinertes. Además, se utiliza como disolvente para la lubricación de la unidad de disco del ordenador. Además, se utiliza como producto químico de calibración en la cromatografía de gases.

Solubilidad
Miscible con cloroformo, ciclohexano, éter etílico, acetato de etilo, heptano, tetracloruro de carbono y éter de petróleo. No miscible con agua, metanol, tolueno, alcohol isopropílico, benceno y acetona.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco. Incompatible con metales en polvo y metales alcalinos.
