Un sustrato de peroxidasa para procedimientos ELISA

o-Phenylenediamine is a peroxidase substrate suitable for use in ELISA procedures. The substrate produces a soluble end product that is orange-brown in color and can be read spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. The OPD reaction may be stopped with 3 N HCl or 3 M H2SO4 and read at 492 nm.

Aplicaciones
La o-fenilendiamina es un sustrato de peroxidasa adecuado para su uso en procedimientos ELISA. El sustrato produce un producto final soluble de color naranja-marrón y puede leerse espectrofotométricamente a 450 nm. La reacción con OPD puede detenerse con 3 N HCl o 3 M H2SO4 y leerse a 492 nm.

Solubilidad
Ligeramente soluble en agua; fácilmente soluble en alcohol, cloroformo o éter.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco, en un recipiente herméticamente sellado. Almacenar lejos de agentes oxidantes y calor. Almacenar en el refrigerador.
