Description
N-Isopropylmethylamine is used in the generation of in situ micelles having distinct sizes, by sequential self-assembly of a series of stimuli-responsive amphiphilic block copolymers, prepared by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization. It is suitable for use in the synthesis of novel 5-ethoxy-N,N-dialkyl-[α,α,β,β-H4]-tryptamines and their [α,α,β,β,β-D4]-counterparts following the Speeter and Anthony procedure.

La N-isopropilmetilamina se utiliza en la generación de micelos «in situ» de distintos tamaños, mediante el autoensamblaje secuencial de una serie de copolímeros de bloques anfílicos sensibles a los estímulos, preparados en una polimerización por adición, fragmentación y transferencia reversible de cadena (RAFT). Es adecuada para su uso en la síntesis de nuevas 5-etoxi-N,N-dialquil-[α,α,β,β-H4]-triptaminas y sus [α,α,β,β,β-D4]-homólogos en el procedimiento de Speeter-Anthony.
Solubilidad
Soluble en cloroformo, DMSO y metanol.

Sensible al aire. Almacenar lejos del aire. Almacenar en gas inerte seco. No almacenar con ácidos. Incompatible con ácidos, con el aire y con agentes oxidantes.
