Further, it is used in the treatment of paracetamol overdose. In addition to this, it is involved in the treatment of autism, Alzheimer's disease, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, and specific drug addictions like cocaine and cannabis.
