Myricetin is used as an antioxidant. It is a cell-permeable flavonoid used in inflammatory, diabetes, and cancer studies. It is effective in protecting neurons against oxidative stresses. Further, it inhibits yeast alfa-glucosidase,1 glyoxalase I in vitro and bovine milk xanthine oxidase.

Aplicaciones
La miricetina se utiliza como antioxidante. Es un flavonoide con permeabilidad celular utilizado en estudios inflamatorios, de diabetes y de cáncer. Es eficaz en la protección de las neuronas contra el estrés oxidativo. Además, inhibe la alfa-glucosidasa de la levadura, la 1 glioxalasa I in vitro y la xantina oxidasa de la leche bovina.

Solubilidad
Soluble en dimetilsulfóxido, dimetilformamida y etanol. Insoluble en agua.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes.
