Manganese(II) acetate is used as a dye mordant and varnish drier. It is also used in fertilizers, food packaging and feed additives. Further, it serves as a desiccant, catalyst, intermediate and ion exchange agent.

Aplicaciones
El acetato de manganeso(II) se utiliza como mordiente de colorantes y secador de barniz. También se utiliza en fertilizantes, en el envasado de alimentos y en aditivos para piensos. Además, sirve como desecante, catalizador, intermediario y agente de intercambio iónico.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua, metanol y ácido acético.
