Para su uso como catalizador, agente floculante, varios cementos de magnesio

Magnesium chloride is generally used as a Lewis acid catalyst. It is used as a flocculating agent, analytical reagent, anesthetic for cephalopods, and also in various magnesium cements, and ceramics. It is used for dust control, and road stabilization. It is used in fire extinguishers, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and hydrogen storage. It is a precursor for magnesium metal and other magnesium compounds.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand.
