ApplicationsIt is used as a anti-inflammatory; analgesic and an antipyretic drug cause the hypothalamus to override an interleukin-induced increase in temperature. They act by blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, which converts arachidonic acid to cyclic endoperoxides, precursors of prostaglandins.
Solubility
Slightly soluble in chloroform and methanol.
Notes
Store away from oxidizing agents. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition.
