5-Methyl-4,6-dihydroxypyrimidine was synthesized from formamidine hydrochloride. N-Formimino-n-glutamate was synthesized from formamidine hydrochloride. Formamidine hydrochloride was used in the synthesis of imidazoleglycerol phosphate (IGP).

Aplicaciones
La 5-metil-4,6-dihidroxipirimidina se sintetizó a partir de clorhidrato de formamidina. El N-formimino-n-glutamato se sintetizó a partir de clorhidrato de formamidina. El clorhidrato de formamidina se utilizó en la síntesis del fosfato de imidazolglicerol (IGP).
