Beskrivning
Ethyl nitroacetate has been used in the synthesis of γ-oxoacids via Michael addition reaction with α,β-unsaturated ketones, fuctionalization of C4-position on pyrimidine and C6-position on 2-deoxyguanosine to produce novel nucleosides, facile synthesis of α,α-diisobutylglycine, synthesis of DL-4,4-difluoroglutamic acid. It is also used as an intermediate in the preparation of unsubstituted amino acids.

El nitroacetato de etilo se ha utilizado en la síntesis de γ-oxoácidos a través de la reacción de adición de Michael con cetonas α,β-insaturadas, la funcionalización de la posición C4 en pirimidina y la posición C6 en 2′-desoxiguanosina para producir nuevos nucleósidos, la síntesis fácil de α,α-diisobutilglicina y la síntesis de ácido DL-4,4-difluoroglutámico. Solubilidad
Soluble en agua. Soluble en cloroformo y acetato de etilo.
