Descripción

Efficient-Pro AGT Feed 3 is a dry-format next-generation Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) feed used in the production of proteins such as monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), offering significant performance and ease-of-use improvements compared to other products.

Designed to work optimally with Efficient-Pro Medium and Efficient-Pro Feed Enhancer, Efficient-Pro AGT Feed 3 has been formulated specifically for use with CHO-K1-GS cell lines. The Efficient-Pro system increases titer and specific productivity, improves protein quality and metabolite profiles, and is easier to use and scale with convenient formats available (liquid and AGT).

Features of Efficient Pro AGT Feed 3 include:

  • Increase ease-of-use with our Advanced Granulation Technology (AGT) dry format with pH and Osmolality pre-adjusted for simplified dissolution with minimal storage
  • Sustain cell viability for longer bioreactor runs and maximized titer
  • Improve downstream outputs such as protein glycosylation, charge-variants, and aggregation
  • Speed-up process development and streamline transfer to manufacturing scale
  • Increase flexibility with a range of format and packaging configurations

Efficient-Pro AGT Feed 3 has been formulated as a chemically defined, animal-origin-free cell culture feed used in the bioproduction of mAbs and other therapeutics in traditional batch and fed-batch bioprocessing workflows, particularly in combination with CHO-K1 cell line variants. Efficient-Pro AGT Feed 3 is a balanced formulation designed to meet the metabolic needs of mAb production and does not contain growth factors or insulin to support batch-to-batch consistency and production efficiency. It has been shown to improve productivity in a CHO-K1-GS cell line when paired with Efficient-Pro Feed Enhancer and Efficient-Pro Medium.
