Drierite™, indicating (CaSO{4}) is used in drying of air, industrial gases, refrigerants and many organic liquids. It is used to maintain a dry atmosphere in storage spaces, vaults and commercial packages. It is utilized for the protection of hygroscopic materials, corrosion, rust, and other deterioration caused by high humidity. Further, it is used as an additive in polymer formulations.
