Dimethyl pimelate was used as the internal standard in the analysis of phthalates, sebacates, epoxidized soybean oil (ESBO) and polyadipates after transesterification to the ethyl esters.

Aplicaciones
El pimelato de dimetilo se utilizaba como patrón interno en el análisis de ftalatos, sebacatos, aceite de soja epoxidado (ESBO, por sus siglas en inglés) y poliadipatos tras su transformación en ésteres etílicos por transesterificación.

Solubilidad
Soluble en etanol, benceno y éter. Ligeramente soluble en agua.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco en recipientes herméticamente cerrados. Almacenar lejos de los agentes oxidantes fuertes.
