Diglycolic acid was used in the preparation of needle-like aragonite particles from calcium nitrate aqueous solutions. It is also used in the synthesis of N-interlinked imipramines which show apoptotic activity against malignant cells as well as signs of combating Burkitt’s lymphoma.

Aplicaciones
El ácido diglicólico se utilizó en la preparación de partículas de aragonito en forma de aguja a partir de soluciones acuosas de nitrato de calcio. También se utiliza en la síntesis de imipraminas vinculadas al N, que muestran una actividad apoptótica contra las células malignas, así como signos de lucha contra el linfoma de Burkitt.
