Dicyclohexylamine is used as an intermediate for the production of antioxidants and vulcanization accelerator. It is used as a catalyst for flexible polyurethane foams. It is also used in agrochemicals and textile chemicals. Used to constitute ionic liquid matrices for bacterial analysis in matrix assisted laser desorption/ionisation mass spectrometry.

Aplicaciones
La diciclohexilamina se utiliza como sustancia intermedia para la producción de antioxidantes y el acelerador de vulcanización. Se utiliza como catalizador para espumas de poliuretano flexibles. También se utiliza en agroquímicos y productos químicos textiles. Se utiliza para componer matrices líquidas iónicas para el análisis bacteriano en espectrometría de masas de desorción/ionización por láser asistida por matriz.

Escasamente soluble en agua (0,8 g/l).
