Dibenzyl phosphite is used for the phosphorylation of phenols involves reaction in the presence of N-ethyldiisopropylamine and DMAP to give the dibenzyl phenyl phosphate. It is used in the preparation of phenylalkylphosphonamidates which are then used as probes for a hydrophobic binding register in prostate-specific membrane antigen.

Aplicaciones
El fosfito de dibencilo se utiliza para la fosforilación de fenoles.Se emplea en la reacción en presencia de N-etildiisopropilamina y DMAP para producir el fenilfosfato de dibencilo. Se utiliza en la preparación de fenilalquilfosfonamidatos que luego se utilizan como sondas para un registro de unión hidrófoba en el antígeno de membrana específico de la próstata.

Solubilidad
Soluble en DMSO y metanol. Reacciona con el agua.
