Description
Fructose is used commercially in foods and beverages. It increases starch viscosity more rapidly and achieves a higher final viscosity than sucrose. It has all the fiber squeezed out of it and so the fructose is easily absorbed into the bloodstream. High-fructose-corn syrup is used in frozen products.

La fructosa se utiliza comercialmente en alimentos y bebidas. Aumenta la viscosidad del almidón más rápidamente y alcanza una viscosidad final más alta que la sacarosa. Tiene toda la fibra exprimida y por lo tanto la fructosa se absorbe fácilmente en el torrente sanguíneo. El jarabe de maíz con alto contenido de fructosa se utiliza en productos congelados.
