Thermo Scientific™ CaptureSelect™ IgG-Fc (Multispecies) Affinity Matrix has been specifically designed to purify IgG through high-affinity binding of the IgG Fc region.

CaptureSelect IgG-Fc (Multispecies) Affinity Matrix has been specifically designed to purify IgG through high-affinity binding of the IgG Fc region. This resin can be used for purification of IgG from a broad range of species. The tested species and their specificity are shown in the figure below.

Features of this affinity matrix include:

  • One-step IgG purification with high purity, from crude material
  • Excellent scalability
  • Non-animal-derived

Free of animal components

CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free).

  • Average particle size: 65 ± 10 μm
  • Ligand: CaptureSelect IgG-Fc (multispecies) affinity ligand
  • Ligand coupling method: epoxide coupling
  • Binding capacity: >25 g IgG/L resin tested with human IgG
  • Elution conditions: 0.1 M glycine, pH 3.0
  • Flow characteristics: 50–200 cm/h (up to 2 bar)
  • Formulation buffer: 20% (v/v) ethanol
