Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Human CIB1 shares 93.5% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with both mouse and rat CIB1. Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human A431 whole cell, rat PC-12 whole cell, mouse brain tissue. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the calcium-binding protein family. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined; however this protein is known to interact with DNA-dependent protein kinase and may play a role in kinase-phosphatase regulation of DNA end joining. This protein also interacts with integrin alphabeta, which may implicate this protein as a regulatory molecule for alphabeta.
