Aplicaciones
El hidróxido de calcio se utiliza como floculante en el tratamiento de aguas y aguas residuales. También se utiliza en el tratamiento de agua dulce para elevar el pH del agua, controlando así la corrosión de las tuberías. Se utiliza muy a menudo en la producción de estearato de calcio. Es un ingrediente activo en la cal, el mortero y el yeso.
