Aplicaciones
El ácido benceneborónico se utiliza ampliamente en varias reacciones de acoplamiento cruzado, por ejemplo, las reacciones de acoplamiento de Mizoroki-Heck y Suzuki-Miyaura, etc. Sirve como receptor de carbohidratos, agentes antimicrobianos e inhibidores enzimáticos en reacciones biológicas. Actúa como reactivo en la reacción estereoselectiva de tipo Heck catalizada por paladio y como catalizador en complejo pincer Ni(II) y metalaciclos de piridoxal hidrazona Pd(II).
