Aspartame is a synthetic and low-calorie sweetener and is used as an active ingredient in consumer foods, beverages, soft drinks, breath mints, sugar free chewing gum, cocoa mixes, frozen desserts, chewable vitamin supplements, milk drinks, cerals, pharmaceutical drugs and supplements, tabletop sweeteners and diet sodas.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.

Aplicaciones
El aspartamo es un edulcorante sintético y bajo en calorías que se utiliza como ingrediente activo en alimentos, bebidas, refrescos, pastillas mentoladas para el aliento, chicle sin azúcar, mezclas de cacao, postres congelados, suplementos vitamínicos masticables, bebidas lácteas, cereales, medicamentos y suplementos farmacéuticos, edulcorantes de mesa y refrescos light.

Solubilidad
Soluble en ácido fórmico, dimetilsulfóxido. Escasamente soluble en agua y etanol.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes.
