9-Phenyl-2,3,7-trihydroxy-6-fluorone is used in presence of cetylpyridinium chloride for spectrophotometric determination of copper(II) in blood serum. It is used in the determination of germanium. It is also used to determine molybdenum(VI).

Aplicaciones
