4-Bromopyrazole may be used in the preparation of 4-bromo-1-(2-chloroethyl)-1H-pyrazole. It may be used as starting material in the synthesis of 1,4?-bipyrazoles. Also used in the synthesis of various pharmaceutical and biologically active compounds, including inhibitors. It is also shown to be one of the 4-substituted pyrazoles, being able to act as inhibitor of liver alcohol dehydrogenase.

Aplicaciones
El 4-bromopirazol puede usarse en la preparación de 4-bromo-1-(2-cloroetil)-1H-pirazol y como material de partida en la síntesis de 1,4′-bipirazoles. También se usa en la síntesis de diversos compuestos farmacéuticos y biológicamente activos, entre los que se incluyen algunos inhibidores. Además, está demostrado que es uno de los pirazoles 4-sustituidos, por lo que actua como inhibidor de la alcohol deshidrogenasa del hígado.
