Competitive pteridine synthetase inhibitor, has antibacterial capable of inhibiting the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It inhibits NF-κB and folic acid synthesis.

Aplicaciones
Es un competitivo inhibidor de la pteridina sintetasa y presenta una actividad antibacteriana capaz de inhibir la proliferación de Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Inhibe la síntesis de NF-κB y ácido fólico.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua (2 g/l) a 20 °C, hidróxido sódico diluido, ácido nítrico diluido, éter (ligeramente), metanol, acetona y etanol. Prácticamente insoluble en benceno, cloroformo y tetracloruro de carbono.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco, en un recipiente bien sellado. Almacénese lejos de los agentes oxidantes.
